Biography
Ruth Sonderegger is currently Professor of Philosophy and Aesthetic Theory at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna. Her main fields of research are aesthetics, critical theory, and resistance studies. Among her recent publications are: Art and the Critique of Ideology After 1989 / Kunst und Ideologiekritik nach 1989 (co-edited Eva Birkenstock, Max Jorge Hinderer und Jens Kastner), Bregenz and Cologne 2013; Pierre Bourdieu und Jacques Rancière. Emanzipatorische Praxis denken (co-edited with Jens Kastner), forthcoming 2014.
Filip Buekens doceert taalfilosofie aan de universiteit van Tilburg. Hij doet onder- zoek in de analytische filosofie (taalfilosofie, filosofie van de geest, analytische her- meneutiek) en de geschiedenis van het postmoderne denken in Frankrijk. F.A.I.Buekens@uvt.nl
Noortje Marres is als Marie Curie-fellow verbonden aan de Afdeling Sociologie van Goldsmiths, Universiteit van Londen. Haar onderzoek richt zich op klimaatverandering en burgerschap, en verkent de rol van ecohuizen als politieke technologie. n.marres@gold.ac.uk
Beate Rössler is professor of ethics and head of the Department of Philosophy at the University of Amsterdam. Her publications include The Value of Privacy (Blackwell 2004) and Von Person zu Person: Zur Moralität persönlicher Beziehungen (co-edited with Axel Honneth, Suhrkamp 2008).
Huub Dijstelbloem is Professor of Philosophy of Science and Politics at the University of Amsterdam and Senior Research Fellow at the Scientific Council for Government Policy (WRR), The Hague, The Netherlands. He is interested in questions concerning science, technology and politics and positions himself disciplinary at the intersection of STS, Political Theory and Philosophy of Science. His current research is focused on three topics: (a) the digitization of border controls, migration policies and mobility management; (b) the governance of food networks; and (c) the contested authority of science. He is author and co-editor of several volumes and coedited Migration and the New Technological Borders of Europe (2011) Basingstoke: Palgrave Macmillan.
Annemarie Mol is een dag per week Socrates-hoogleraar Politieke Filosofie aan de Universiteit van Twente. Maarten Doorman is filosoof, criticus, dichter en essayist. Hij is bijzonder hoogleraar Journalistieke Kritiek van Kunst en Cultuur aan de UvA. Verder is hij filosoof aan de Faculteit Cultuur- en Maatschappijwetenschappen van de Universiteit Maastricht. Recente boeken zijn Art in Progress. A Philosophical Response to the End of the Avant-Garde (2003), De romantische orde (2004) en Paralipomena. Opstellen over kunst, filosofie en literatuur (2007).
