Submit an article to Krisis

Articles and all other relevant information are to be submitted through the electronic Open Journal Systems submission form, accessible via the button on the left of this page.

Other submissions, such as essays and book reviews, ought to be submitted as an attachment to an email sent to info[at]krisis[.]eu.

Krisis accepts articles in Dutch and in English. Articles that are considered suitable for the journal by the editorial board are double-blind peer reviewed. Other contributions submitted for publication are reviewed by the editors.

Krisis accepts only original, unpublished material that has not been submitted for publication elsewhere. Authors intending to submit already published articles, or to use previously published material as part of an article, must indicate this intention at the time they accept the invitation to publish or, in the case of unsolicited articles, at the time of submission.

Krisis reserves the right to edit contributions. Authors have the opportunity to review corrections before publication, provided the articles are submitted to the editors in good time.

If an article, following acceptance, is not in substantial conformity with these guidelines, the editors reserve the right to return the article for revision by the author. Authors acknowledge that they may be waiving their right to review proofs prior to publication if the article is returned to them for revision to bring it into conformity with the guidelines. If an article is revised and resubmitted in time to allow the editors to meet their publication deadline, it will appear in the agreed-upon issue of Krisis. In other cases, the editors may reserve the article for publication in a later issue.
