Biografie
Dr. Theo W.A. de Wit (1953) is als Universitair Docent sociaal-politieke filosofie en cultuurfilosofie verbonden aan de Faculteit Katholieke Theologie van de Universiteit van Tilburg. Hij schreef een proefschrift over de politieke filosofie van Carl Schmitt (De onontkoombaarheid van de politiek, Nijmegen 1992). Zijn huidige aandachtsvelden zijn democratie en macht, politiek en religie, en multiculturaliteit en tolerantie.
Gijs van Oenen is universitair docent aan de Faculteit der Wijsbegeerte van de Erasmus Universiteit Rotterdam en lid van de redactie van Krisis.
Harry Kunneman is hoogleraar sociale en politieke theorie aan de Universiteit voor Humanistiek in Utrecht. Tevens is hij voorzitter van de Humanistische Alliantie, het samenwerkingsverband van alle humanistische organisaties in Nederland. Hij publiceerde o.a. De waarheidstrechter (Boom 1986), Van theemutscultuur naar walk- man-ego (Boom 1996), Postmoderne moraliteit (Boom 1999) en Voorbij het dikke-ik. Bouwstenen voor een kritisch humanisme (Humanistics University Press/SWP 2005).
Pieter Pekelharing used to teach at the University of Amsterdam. He has just retired. With two co-authors he recently published a book on the power of the megacorporation, De macht van de megaonderneming, Van Gennep, 2016, which is currently being translated into Spanish and Portuguese. An English translation is in the making. His current interests are focused on the politics of higher education and the relationship between science and democracy. He is also working on a publication of his lectures on the history of philosophy.
Ido de Haan is professor of political history at Utrecht University. He is currently supervising a research project on the history of neoliberalism in the Netherlands (neoliberalisme.nl). Among his publications are books on Dutch political history (Een nieuwe staat. Het begin van het Koninkrijk der Nederlanden, ed. with P. de Hoed and H. te Velde, Prometheus 2013; Het beginsel van leven en wasdom. De constitutie van de Nederlandse politiek, Wereldbibliotheek 2003), on the memory of the Holocaust (Na de ondergang. De herinnering aan de Jodenvervolging in Nederland, SDU 1997) and on the history of political ideology (Zelfbestuur en staatsbeheer. Het politieke debat over burgerschap en rechtsstaat in de twintigste eeuw, AUP 1993; Maakbaarheid. Liberale wortels en hedendaagse kritiek van de maakbare samenleving, ed. with J.W. Duyvendak, AUP 1996). Together with Beatrice de Graaf and Brian Vick he edited Securing Europe after Napoleon, CUP forthcoming).
Ries van der Wouden is politicoloog en werkzaam bij het Sociaal Cultureel Planbureau
